Guideline for
Abstract Submission

All abstracts must be uploaded on the On-line Submission System. Fax and E-mail submissions will not be accepted.
For any inquiries, please contact the secretariat of the Korean Cornea Society Annual Meeting & International

B. General Instructions
  • 1. Abstracts must be written and presented in English.

  • 2. Abstracts may be submitted for Poster or Video presentation.

  • 3. Each participant may submit an unlimited number of abstracts.

  • 4. The presenting author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors are aware of the content before submission.

  • 5. No changes will be accepted after Thursday, September 18th, 2025.

C. Abstract Format and Structure
  • •Title:

    • - Use a concise title that clearly reflects the content of the abstract.

    • - Each word in the title should begin with a capital letter and not exceed 30 words.

    • - Abbreviations should be avoided.

    • - The title cannot be modified after the submission deadline.

  • •Authors and Affiliations:

    • - Provide the full name and surname of each author as shown in their passport.

    • - Do not include academic degrees or titles.

    • - Authors' family names should be written in capital letters. (e.g. Annis KIM)

    • - The first author is considered the presenting author and should be written in bold.

      * The presenting author is expected to attend 2026 KCIS and deliver the presentation. * All communications will be directed at the presenting author's email address. Kindly ensure that a valid and regularly checked email is provided.
  • •Each author must be listed with their institution and country.

D. Abstract Content
  • 1. Abstracts should not exceed 250 words.

  • 2. Abstract Content (excluding title, authors and institutions) should include the following headings: PURPOSE, METHODS, RESULTS and CONCLUSIONS.

  • 3. Case Reports must follow this structure: PURPOSE, SETTING, REPORT of CASE and CONCLUSION.

  • 4. Do not include graphs, tables, images and references in the abstract.

  • 5. The submitting author must declare any conflict of interest, both in the abstract and on the presentation slide.

  • 6. Abstracts with vague content such as "Results will be discussed" or "To be presented" will not be accepted.

E. Others
  • 1. The Korean Cornea Society holds the copyright to all the materials presented at the Meeting.

    * All accepted abstracts will be published as submitted, either onsite at the Meeting or on the official website (http://kcis2026.org).
  • 2. On completion of your abstract submission, you will be sent an automated confirmation email. Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive an email immediately.

  • 3. Abstract Withdrawals: Requests for abstract withdrawal must be emailed to info@kcis2026.org by Friday, October 31st, 2025.

  • 4. This abstract must not have been published or accepted in any academic journal or peer-reviewed venue.
